he decided to pursue a career in music . When asked why music, he said: "I found out I was gifted in it so I had to explore it, it's my life, my hustle, my world". In 2016, Damiwizzy released ‘Wo 5n Boy’ under the TIW record which he was signed unto at the time. The song received wide critical acclaim and instantly shot Damiwizzy to limelight. [3] In 2016, Damiwizzy performed at The University Of Lagos (Uni lag), Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPO), YABA tech, OAU and ILE-IFE and it was Massive . Damiwizzy versatility and style of music has been similarized to that of "Slimcase" who raps and sings in his local dialect. [5][6] However, he has been criticised for using too much vulgar sentences and not finding the right balance in the lyrics of his songs.[7] In an interview with Naij he said,[8]they are singles not an album, I know the kind of market am directing my songs to, am from the streets, I know what the people from the street want to listen to...they should wait for my album that is expected to drop towards the end of the year. I have very positive songs.
